Dr. Nirmala Mohan is a Fertility specialist, Obstetrician & Gynecologist, currently working as a fulltime Consultant - in Assisted Conception unit,Columbia Asia Hospital, Hebbal, Columbia clinic Dodballapur, Bangalore She is a gold medalist, distinction student throughout her undergraduate period After her postgraduation from the esteemed government medical college, Bellary, Karnataka (Now VIMS), she worked as a Senior Consultant - in Bangalore Baptist Hospital (BBH) for more than a decade, where she handled all kinds of complicated cases and trained and guided many undergraduate and postgraduate DNB students She constantly tries to keep herself up-to-date with changing medical practices and advances, and in this pursuit obtained her fellowship in Reproductive Medicine from the number one premier institute in the country, Dr. Kamini Rao’s Bangalore Assisted Conception Centre (BACC), now MILANN She also did her masters in Reproductive Medicine and surgery from the Homerton University hospital, London, UK, and is also an Associate of RCOG She has presented papers in various conferences, published articles in journals, and contributed to a chapter on Gynaec Emergencies in a FOGSI publication She is a member of various professional bodies IMA, FOGSI, BSOG, ISAR, KISAR, ISMAAR She has a special interest in minimal simulation and natural cycle IVF and fervently hopes to make “ART AFFORDABLE TO ALL” in near future
